Fondation Louis Vuitton seeks General Accountant (Paris, France). Manage vendor accounts, fixed assets, and financial closures using SAP. Full-time CDI role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage vendor accounting workflows including RIB verification, supplier master data maintenance (SAP/SIS-ID), and invoice entry and validation via OSS and SAP
- Track advance payments, expense reports, and travel authorizations; monitor supplier balance schedules and payment terms
- Oversee copyright royalty management (Ivalua/AGESSA/OSS), DAS2 declaration preparation, and digitized invoice processing (EDICOM)
- Maintain fixed asset registers and schedules in SAP; calculate and record depreciation allocations
- Execute monthly and annual financial statement closures including cut-off procedures, period-end accruals, provisions, and general ledger account reconciliations
- Participate in external audits with statutory auditors and prepare synthesis statements
- Prepare and file VAT declarations (EDICOM) and manage routine tax compliance
- Initiate and resolve accounting issues with strong internal control discipline
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (three years minimum) in accounting, finance, or CPA equivalency (DCG, DSCG, Master CCA)
- Minimum 3 years' professional experience as a General Accountant or Accounts Payable Accountant
- Proven autonomous competency in monthly and annual financial statement closures
- Expert proficiency in SAP; working knowledge of Ivalua, EDICOM, and Qlik is a strong advantage
- Comprehensive knowledge of French VAT, declarative obligations (DAS2, EDICOM), and documentary audit protocols
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years' professional experience in a general accounting or accounts payable role, with demonstrated autonomy in closing processes and vendor account management.
Education
Baccalauréat+3 to Baccalauréat+5 qualification in accounting or finance (DCG, DSCG, Master CCA, or equivalent).
