LVMH Fragrance Brands in Vervins seeks a Fragrance Quality Control Technician — laboratory-based olfactory and analytical testing, SAP lot release.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform olfactory assessments and analytical controls on raw materials, intermediate bases and finished fragrance products following established instructions.
- Carry out organoleptic testing and olfactory controls on all filled product samples produced on-site or received from subcontractors.
- Execute physico‑chemical analyses according to defined methods (e.g., CPG/GC-MS, spectrocolorimeter, refractometer, densimeter, water content determination).
- Perform environmental microbiological monitoring (water, air, surfaces) and document results per quality protocols.
- Participate in the investigation and management of quality non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Release production lots electronically using SAP and maintain accurate laboratory and quality records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemistry (Bac+3 / Bac+4) with complementary olfactive training (e.g., ISIPCA or ESP).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in analytical or quality control within perfumery, cosmetics or a related chemical/consumer-goods industry.
- Strong adherence to safety rules, GMP and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-service orientation and capacity to work cross-functionally.
- Creative, solution-oriented and proactive with strong attention to detail; SAP experience is a plus.

At least 3 years of hands-on quality control or analytical laboratory experience in perfumery, cosmetics or a related chemical/manufacturing environment.
Education
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemistry (Bac+3 / Bac+4) with olfactive training such as ISIPCA or ESP.
