The FP&A Analyst supports financial close, brand and portfolio performance reporting, forecasting, budgeting, cost monitoring, and executive presentations across LVMH Fashion Group’s brands. The role is permanent and full-time, based in New York City, with hybrid working; annual compensation is $90,000–$100,000.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly closing process for the assigned brand portfolio, working with accounting and operational partners to ensure financial data is complete and reliable.
  • Review monthly brand performance, including actual-versus-budget and forecast variance analysis, trend analysis, risk and opportunity assessment, and profitability review.
  • Prepare monthly brand dashboards and consolidated portfolio reporting covering sales, gross margin, inventory, and operating expenses, including selling and marketing expenses.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts with operational teams, including budgets, reforecasts, and strategic plans by brand, in line with HQ deadlines.
  • Prepare and distribute department and store cost-monitoring reports, including month-to-date and year-to-date analysis by brand, department, store, and expense type; compare actuals with budget and propose action plans when needed.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses, including investment analysis, competitive benchmarking, retail performance analysis, and cross-brand comparisons to support business decisions.
  • Partner with department heads and brand stakeholders to gather inputs, understand business drivers, and identify portfolio-wide risks and opportunities.
  • Support operational teams with data-driven analysis to challenge assumptions, validate business cases, and prioritize actions across multiple brands.
  • Support executive-level presentations and financial summaries, including brand-specific and consolidated views for leadership review.
  • Improve FP&A processes, templates, and reporting tools to promote scalability, standardization, and efficiency in a multi-brand environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance required.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint for executive-level presentations, required.
  • Experience with ERP systems, including SAP and Cegid, preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders across different brands.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and oriented toward continuous improvement and results.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with the agility to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, multi-brand organization.
