LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics seeks a Forecasting Manager in New York to lead sell‑in forecasting, S&OP and ML forecasting models.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end sell‑in forecasts for the basic catalogue and be the forecasting lead for launches and POSM in partnership with brand marketing and sales teams.
  • Maintain and optimise forecasting models (including Machine Learning models), manage parameters and run rolling 18‑month sell‑in / sell‑out analyses to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Drive forecast performance metrics (forecast accuracy, valorization vs. budget), identify gaps, propose corrective action plans and animate continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present forecast reporting for monthly S&OP and lead demand review sessions, facilitating structured, fact‑based discussions with local and HQ stakeholders.
  • Manage item master data (item activation, status, end‑of‑life dates) to ensure data integrity across forecasting and supply processes.
  • Challenge business stakeholders up to senior management to ensure forecast consistency and surface anything likely to impact sell‑in (promotions, merchandising, strategy changes).
  • Train and onboard marketing and sales newcomers on forecasting calendar, tools and responsibilities.
  • Participate in cross‑Maison benchmarking and lead projects to optimise forecasting processes and associated tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Management, or a related quantitative field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of sell‑in forecasting or demand planning experience, preferably with suppliers to major US department stores.
  • Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and leading forecasting or S&OP initiatives.
  • Strong problem‑structuring ability, intellectual rigor and capacity to translate analytical insight into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and collaborate across functions and geographies.
  • Discretion handling confidential information.
