LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics seeks a Financial Controller in Mexico City to lead financial control, reporting and budgeting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and validate financial and accounting information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
- Prepare, consolidate and monitor budgets, forecasts and monthly/quarterly financial reports.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to evaluate business profitability and support strategic decision-making.
- Control provisions and operating expenses, authorise financial requests and ensure robust internal controls.
- Design and maintain KPIs and dashboards for continuous monitoring of financial performance using Power BI.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Qualifications
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including financial control, budgeting and forecasting.
- Proven leadership experience managing finance teams or projects and making managerial-level decisions.
- Strong technical proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Practical experience with corporate ERP systems and financial consolidation processes.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or equivalent BI tools for financial analysis and KPI reporting.
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years of relevant finance and accounting experience with demonstrable responsibility for financial control, reporting and budget management; prior exposure to consumer goods, cosmetics, retail or other fast-moving luxury environments is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent; professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA or local equivalent) preferred.
