LVMH Watches & Jewelry seeks a Financial Analyst in Tokyo for hybrid role supporting business planning and financial control across Asia Pacific entities.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Validate and analyse P&L, Overheads, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow statements; provide comprehensive variance analysis and variance management
  • Issue weekly controlling and reporting dashboards to senior management
  • Develop business follow-up and enhance performance analysis by channel, including volumes, prices, margins, and Advertising & Promotion expenses
  • Support and challenge brand marketing and commercial teams to ensure KPIs and business models align with requirements; develop analysis, comparisons, and calculate product launch impacts
  • Set up and monitor KPIs for After Sales and Logistics activities
  • Develop After Sales business follow-up and performance analysis covering pricing, margins, and investments
  • Lead the planning process including budgets, best estimates, revised forecasts, landing, P&L projections, Cash Flow forecasts, and Capex planning
  • Assist in establishing Internal Control processes within the area of responsibility
  • Plan and monitor the annual stocktake
  • Review and update expense approvals and delegation of authorities rules as needed
  • Provide alerts and recommendations to the Business Planning & Control Manager to maintain or improve profitability

Qualifications

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, or Business
  • Master's degree or MBA from a top-tier institution (preferred)
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS)
  • Outstanding Excel proficiency
  • Proficiency in corporate standard business presentation software
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • International exposure and cultural flexibility
  • TOEIC score over 800 or equivalent English proficiency
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese

Experience

Minimum 3 to 6 years of professional experience in financial planning & analysis, general accounting, or auditing within a multinational or foreign company. Experience in multinational organizations is essential. Overseas work experience is advantageous.

Education

University degree in Economics, Finance, or Business. Master's degree or MBA from a top-tier institution is preferred.
