FP&A Analyst at LVMH Fashion Group in New York. Financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting role for luxury retail, $80K–$110K annually.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly closing processes for assigned brand portfolios, collaborating with accounting and operational partners to ensure completeness and reliability of financial data
  • Conduct comprehensive variance analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast, including trend analysis, risk assessment, and profitability reviews by brand
  • Prepare monthly dashboard reporting by brand and consolidated views across the portfolio, including sales, gross margin, inventory, and operating expenses
  • Develop monthly forecasting reports including budgets, reforecasts, and strategic plans aligned with headquarters deadlines
  • Prepare department and store cost monitoring reports with MTD and YTD analysis by brand, department, store, and expense category
  • Execute ad-hoc analysis including investment evaluation, competitive benchmarking, retail performance assessment, and cross-brand comparisons to support business decisions
  • Partner with department heads and brand stakeholders to identify business drivers, risks, and opportunities across the multi-brand portfolio
  • Support operational teams with data-driven analysis to validate business cases, challenge assumptions, and prioritize actions
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and financial summaries in both brand-specific and consolidated formats
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes, templates, and reporting infrastructure to enhance scalability and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance
  • 3+ years of controlling or financial analysis experience in luxury retail
  • Advanced Excel proficiency with strong Microsoft Office competency, particularly PowerPoint for executive presentation preparation
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and Cegid
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal capabilities with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders across different brands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with capacity to articulate financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences

Experience

Minimum 3 years of controlling or financial analysis experience in a luxury retail setting is preferred. Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance required.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 110,000 per annum.
