Financial Analyst, FP&A at LVMH Fashion Group in New York: $80,000–$90,000 annually. Support multi-brand portfolio analysis and financial forecasting in luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly closing processes for assigned brand portfolios, collaborating with accounting and operational teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Conduct variance analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast, trend analysis, risk and opportunity assessment, and profitability reviews by brand
- Prepare monthly performance dashboards by brand and consolidated views across the portfolio, including metrics on sales, gross margin, inventory, and operating expenses
- Develop monthly forecasting reports in collaboration with operational teams, including budgets, reforecasts, and strategic plans aligned with headquarters deadlines
- Prepare department and store cost monitoring reports with MTD and YTD analysis, comparing actuals to budget and recommending corrective action plans
- Deliver ad-hoc analytical reports on investment analysis, competitive benchmarking, retail performance, and cross-brand comparisons to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with department heads and brand stakeholders to understand business drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and inform portfolio-level strategy
- Support operational teams with data-driven insights, challenging assumptions, validating business cases, and prioritizing actions across multiple brands
- Contribute to the preparation of executive-level presentations and financial summaries for leadership review
- Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, templates, and reporting infrastructure to enhance scalability, standardization, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance
- 3+ years of controlling or financial analysis experience in luxury retail
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong command of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint for executive presentations
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP and Cegid
- Exceptional analytical and interpersonal capabilities with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated orientation toward continuous improvement and results achievement

Minimum 3 years of controlling or financial analysis experience in a luxury retail setting is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance required.
