Fashion Group — Finance & Accounting Manager (Hybrid) in Singapore. Lead month‑end close, controls and multi‑entity accounting across multiple maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all month‑end and period‑end closing activities, review team deliverables and ensure timely submissions to headquarters.
- Manage key transactional accounting processes and general ledger activity to guarantee accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Ensure correct recognition of revenues, expenses and accruals in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Act as primary finance contact with Business Planning & Control for month‑end closing, variance analysis and forecasting adjustments.
- Maintain integrity of financial data for external counterparties and internal accounts; resolve reconciliations and anomalies.
- Design, strengthen and monitor internal controls across transactional accounting functions to mitigate errors and fraud.
- Support internal and external audits with comprehensive documentation, analyses and timely responses to audit queries.
- Lead statutory and compliance matters related to accounting and regulatory reporting within the region.
- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements (core accounting modules) to streamline high‑volume transactions and GL management.
- Develop reporting tools and dashboards to improve transparency and decision support for finance stakeholders.
- Coach and supervise accounting team members, fostering accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with FP&A, operations, compliance and IS&T on projects such as system implementations, buybacks, liquidations and legal entity setups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, audit or finance operations, including prior people management.
- Deep knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and/or GAAP), internal controls and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience leading month‑end close, GL management and multi‑entity accounting processes.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving capability to resolve complex accounting matters and inform decisions.
- Prior exposure to internal/external audit processes and statutory reporting requirements.
- Track record of driving process improvements, system enhancements and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across finance and business functions in a fast‑paced environment.

Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting, audit or finance operations experience, with demonstrable people management and multi‑entity / multi‑market exposure.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
