Role & Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end and period‑end closing activities across multiple maisons and markets, reviewing team deliverables and monthly submissions to headquarters.
- Manage core transactional accounting processes and general ledger activities to ensure accurate recognition of revenues, expenses and accruals in accordance with accounting standards.
- Act as principal liaison with Business Planning & Control for close cycles, providing analysis of prospective landings, risks and opportunities.
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls across transactional accounting functions and support internal and external audit requests with comprehensive documentation.
- Identify and implement process and system improvements to streamline high‑volume transactions, GL management and financial reporting transparency.
- Supervise, coach and develop accounting team members; foster a culture of accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support ad hoc projects such as buybacks, liquidations, legal entity setups and finance system enhancements in partnership with cross‑functional project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit or finance operations, including prior people management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP), regulatory compliance and internal control frameworks.
- Proven experience with month‑end close, financial reporting and resolving complex accounting issues.
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and participating in finance system implementations or enhancements.

Experience
At least 10 years of progressive accounting, audit or finance operations experience with demonstrated responsibility for month‑end close, financial reporting and prior line management; experience in multi‑entity, multi‑market environments preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
