LVMH Cosmetics — Distribution & Allocation Planner in Tokyo (Chiyoda‑Ku). Full‑time, hybrid role supporting LVMH Fragrance Brands' allocation and replenishment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute allocation strategies for novelties and core SKUs to optimise service levels and minimise obsolescence under constrained supply conditions.
- Align allocation plans with Product Marketing and Sales calendars, adapting distribution to launches, promotions and seasonal demand shifts.
- Coordinate weekly redistribution of incoming stock across channels using performance metrics; escalate potential out-of-stock risks to the business team.
- Analyse inventory versus sales forecasts to manage quota settings, inventory releases and lifecycle-based replenishment decisions.
- Operate and maintain allocation and POS systems (AX, POS Infoware), ensuring data accuracy and producing reports for continuous improvement.
- Design and administer counter automatic replenishment parameters per SKU/counter to optimise presence rates, stock coverage and logistic efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Planning, Sales, Retail, BPC) to drive KPIs such as presence rate, coverage and sales fulfilment, and provide actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
- Native Japanese speaker with fluent English (verbal and written).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum three years' experience in allocation planning, inventory management or supply chain planning within cosmetics, beauty or luxury retail.
- Proven proficiency in Excel and MS Office for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with allocation/POS systems such as AX and POS Infoware is highly desirable.
- Customer-focused, results-oriented, able to work autonomously and to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a multicultural context.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
