LVMH Fashion Group seeks a Director of Talent Development & Acquisition in New York to lead talent strategy, acquisition and leadership development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive, multi-year talent strategy covering attraction, development, retention and internal mobility across the Fashion Group Maisons.
  • Lead end-to-end executive and senior recruitment, ensuring high-calibre candidate experience and alignment with Maison leadership needs.
  • Design and deploy leadership development, learning, coaching and mentoring programmes, and run the Organizational Management Review (OMR) to map and accelerate leadership pipelines.
  • Partner with Maison Talent Directors and LVMH Group stakeholders to integrate regional initiatives with global talent frameworks and the LVMH HOUSE programmes.
  • Drive employer branding and community engagement initiatives to position the Fashion Group as an employer of choice within the luxury market.
  • Develop and monitor recruiting and talent metrics, reporting frameworks and people-analytics to inform decisions and identify trends.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the talent development & acquisition team, setting performance metrics and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies and targeted initiatives to attract, retain and promote diverse talent across functions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in talent development and/or talent acquisition, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record designing and implementing innovative recruitment, leadership development and mobility programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience leading executive search and senior-hire processes within complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; ability to consult with senior leaders across functions and geographies.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics and analytics to shape talent strategy and measure impact.
  • Deep understanding of the fashion or luxury market and a passion for its culture and talent dynamics.
  • Commitment to DEI with experience developing and delivering targeted inclusion strategies.

Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MA in HR) or HR certification preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 160,000 to USD 175,000 per annum.
