LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics in Hong Kong Island seeks a Demand & Supply Planner (temporary) to manage forecasting, inventory and distribution for a major beauty brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply and distribution flows for the assigned brand, including imports, intercompany transfers, returns and phase-outs.
- Define import quantities and select transportation modes aligned with inventory status, product lifecycle and demand forecasts.
- Set and optimise delivery frequency and SKU-level stock targets across points of sale to maximise presence while limiting coverage and obsolescence.
- Maintain product lifecycle processes: launch planning, regular replenishment, discontinuation and controlled phase-out to minimise inventory costs.
- Coordinate distribution to counters and retail outlets, ensuring accurate deployment of inventory across the network.
- Collaborate with the Brand team to refine forecasting inputs and deliver accurate demand plans.
- Provide actionable analysis on service levels, inventory health and financial impacts; present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure ERP/POS master data integrity by SKU (catalogue, discontinuation, supply and lifecycle) to support planning and operational execution.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency in replenishment, forecasting and distribution processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ demonstrable experience in demand planning and supply planning within a consumer goods or retail supply chain.
- Proven ability to produce and challenge forecasts, establish initial stocks for new launches and manage end-of-life phase-out strategies.
- Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting ERP/POS data and translating metrics into commercial recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills, including the ability to influence Brand, Logistics and Planning teams.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese appropriate for both formal presentations and day-to-day liaison.

Experience
Minimum three years of hands-on experience in both demand planning and supply planning functions within a supply chain, preferably within FMCG, cosmetics or luxury retail.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Economics or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
