LVMH Watch & Jewelry Japan is hiring a Customer Support Center Brand Ambassador for Chaumet in Tokyo. Full-time, permanent role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage inbound phone and email inquiries from customers via website contact channels, serving as the primary point of contact
- Process and respond to watch and jewelry repair requests, including intake documentation, process explanations, delivery timelines, and cost notifications
- Handle product-related inquiries including inventory status and general product information
- Resolve customer complaints with professionalism and empathy as the first point of contact
- Provide internal support desk services to boutiques and corporate teams regarding after-sales service (primarily watches)
- Execute administrative duties including document organization and mail processing
- Participate in outbound campaign initiatives to engage customers and promote brand messaging and targeted offers
- Support clienteling activities and sales-oriented calls, understanding and facilitating appropriate payment processing methods
- Manage live chat inquiries (as platform becomes available) and respond to e-commerce-related questions regarding order status, online product information, and website navigation
- Process phone-based sales orders through dedicated ordering systems, enabling customers to complete purchases directly by telephone
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of customer service experience, including both customer support and sales exposure
- Fluency in Japanese with strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic-to-intermediate English proficiency with demonstrated reading and writing skills; verbal communication ability preferred
- Deep compliance understanding and ability to adhere to company policies and regulations in all customer interactions
- Familiarity with enterprise software platforms such as Salesforce, Proconcept, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, clear expression, and adaptability to diverse customer communication styles
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, kindly, and professionally with customers, colleagues, and management
- Customer-centric mindset with proactive, empathetic, and flexible approach to anticipating the unique needs of high-net-worth clientele
- Strong collaborative spirit and commitment to team objectives
- Genuine interest in and deep knowledge of luxury brands, jewelry products, and services, with ability to engage in brand storytelling

Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in luxury hospitality, premium retail, high-end airlines, department stores, or comparable client-facing luxury sectors. Direct watch or jewelry industry experience is not required; background in serving affluent clientele in other luxury verticals is highly valued.
Education
