LVMH Beauty Controlling Manager in Seoul: Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for luxury beauty brands in Korea.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans for assigned brand portfolios
- Analyze brand performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain financial models supporting brand strategy, marketing initiatives, and retail expansion
- Prepare and present comprehensive budget and forecast analyses to brand management and senior leadership
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual brand performance reports with insights into sales, gross margin, marketing ROI, and profitability
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), providing recommendations for operational improvement
- Investigate and explain variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Develop and maintain retail performance metrics, including sales per square foot, conversion rates, and average transaction value
- Evaluate retail channel profitability and identify efficiency improvements
- Assess financial performance of new and existing retail locations
- Evaluate financial effectiveness of marketing campaigns and track marketing ROI metrics
- Serve as trusted financial advisor to brand and marketing teams on business cases and strategic initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of controllers, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration
- Support the implementation of global brand initiatives within regional markets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, brand finance, or related roles
- MBA or CPA certification preferred
- Fluency in Korean (essential) and English (preferred)
- Strong financial planning and analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office software
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
- Experience in cosmetics, luxury goods, or consumer packaged goods industry preferred

Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, brand finance, or related roles. Experience within the cosmetics, luxury goods, or consumer packaged goods industry is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA or CPA certification preferred.
