Role & Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects within the operational excellence roadmap.
• Ensure projects run effectively by applying project management methodology and coordinating the project team.
• Use standard total quality management and problem-solving tools, including PDCA and 5M.
• Regularly communicate project progress, including presenting at the operational excellence steering committee.
• Measure results and propose appropriate measures when deviations or performance drift occur.
• Propose and lead targeted actions.
• Support teams in becoming autonomous at the end of projects.
• Ensure all standards are kept up to date.
• Support the smooth running of packaging operations through a strong on-site presence.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety rules and 5S standards.
• Ensure environmental instructions are applied.
• Organize on-the-floor coaching to develop the skills of different professional groups and identify teams’ training needs.
• Participate in team engagement routines.
• Act as backup for the packaging manager during travel or absence.
• Ensure daily compliance with GMP rules, specific requirements such as cGMP and Korean requirements, and hygiene procedures.
• Contribute to the positive image of production, the Beauvais site, and the company.
• Contribute to achieving packaging cost targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in production engineering, continuous improvement, or an equivalent field.
• Initial experience in industry through an internship, apprenticeship, or VIE, ideally in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or food processing.
• In-depth knowledge of production and continuous improvement techniques, including 5S, SMED, TPM, and MRP.
• Ability to adapt and learn digital tools, including AI, Power BI, Fabriq, and SAP.
• Solution-oriented, comfortable working in project mode, and able to secure team buy-in.
• Proactive, able to make proposals, attentive, autonomous, and strongly oriented toward on-the-floor work.
• Knowledge of GMP.

Experience

Minimum 3 years; initial industry experience through an internship, apprenticeship, or VIE.

Education

Degree in production engineering, continuous improvement, or an equivalent field.
