LVMH seeks a Compliance Officer — Alerts & Investigations in Paris to manage the Group ethics hotline and lead forensic investigations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate the Group ethics alert system: receive and acknowledge all reports submitted via the hotline and designated mailbox, perform preliminary triage and allocate cases to the appropriate Maison E&C correspondents in line with the Group Alert Policy.
- Monitor and coordinate the handling of alerts by Maisons, assist Maison correspondents when required, and close cases following established procedures.
- Contribute to and lead forensic investigations on alerts assigned to the Direction Éthique & Conformité, including documentary review, collection and structuring of evidence and case file management.
- Handle Holding-level alerts in collaboration with Human Resources and Internal Control / Audit functions.
- Maintain and update the register of sensitive alerts to ensure rigorous case management and traceability.
- Perform annual analysis of reports received (by type, country, Maison) and prepare reporting materials for top management, the E&C community, HR and Internal Audit/Control.
- Consolidate all alerts received across channels to support extra-financial reporting and related disclosures.
- Support training and awareness activities for staff responsible for alert handling and contribute to communications about the Group hotline.
- Contribute to updates of the Group Alert Policy, the Investigations Guide and the alert intake/management tools; help develop and improve forensic methodologies and investigative tooling.
Qualifications
- Approximately 5–6 years of professional experience in compliance, audit, legal, finance, control or advisory roles, acquired in an audit firm and/or in-house environment.
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience conducting ethical investigations in an international corporate environment.
- Proven experience in data analysis, consolidation and exploitation of case data; familiarity with managing compliance tools such as whistleblowing hotlines/case management systems.
- Strong command of forensic investigation techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent proficiency in advanced data-analysis tools and dashboarding (advanced Excel, Power BI) and application of data analytics to investigations.
- Good knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to compliance matters, including whistleblower protection regimes.
- High standards of integrity and confidentiality, rigour, analytical synthesis and ability to prioritise under pressure.
- Adaptability, strong interpersonal skills and fluent written and spoken French and English.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years specifically dedicated to ethical investigations; experience in an audit firm and/or in-house legal, compliance, finance or control functions, in an international environment.
Education
Master’s degree or equivalent in Law, Compliance, Finance, Forensic Accounting, Investigations or a closely related discipline, or comparable professional experience.
