Compensation & Benefits Director at LVMH Fragrance Brands, Paris. Lead Total Rewards strategy and compensation programs for a luxury fragrance house.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deploy the global compensation policy (base salary, short-term variable, long-term incentives, employee benefits) reflecting the Maison's standards of excellence
- Manage job classification and evaluation frameworks (JobMap) to ensure internal equity across divisions
- Set compensation targets and ranges, building and maintaining salary and hiring grids aligned with market positioning
- Orchestrate the annual compensation review (ICR), salary review grids, and bonus payout policies
- Manage long-term incentive and shareholding programs, including Performance Share plan (AGP) eligibility, beneficiary tracking, mobility, and departures
- Oversee employee savings, collective retirement schemes (PEE/PER, profit-sharing), and employee benefits administration
- Develop and manage international mobility and expatriation packages, including housing grids and cost projections
- Manage and monitor payroll (France and international) whilst ensuring budgetary control and financial accuracy
- Develop payroll budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis; model the financial impact of HR and organizational decisions
- Ensure compliance with the European Pay Transparency Directive, gender equality reporting, and legal remuneration obligations
- Conduct market compensation studies and benchmarking surveys to ensure premium market positioning
- Produce key analyses, dashboards, and decision-making summaries for executive leadership
- Supervise and develop a team of two members, fostering a culture of rigor, precision, and strategic innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent (Bac +5) in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration, with specialization in Compensation & Benefits
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in Compensation & Benefits
- Significant experience in a consulting firm and/or international, matrixed corporate environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and payroll analysis
- Expertise with HRIS platforms and reporting tools (such as My Beauty HR)
- Fluent in French and English
- Demonstrated integrity and discretion in handling sensitive, confidential compensation data
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Compensation & Benefits, with significant exposure to consulting, international environments, or large matrixed organizations. Demonstrated expertise in compensation strategy, benchmarking, payroll management, and regulatory compliance within a luxury or multinational corporate context is expected.
Education
Master's degree (or equivalent Bac +5) in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration, with specialization in Compensation & Benefits preferred.
