Communications Intern (Confidential luxury employer) in Shanghai — 6‑month on‑site internship supporting corporate website, intranet, WeChat and events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Edit, proofread and publish Chinese press releases on the corporate website; ensure compliance and quality control for published materials.
- Coordinate content progress across internal and external stakeholders and maintain accurate publication archives.
- Localize and adapt English intranet/news content for a Chinese audience; plan, author and publish internal articles and maintain intranet records.
- Support WeChat and WeCom content planning, bilingual copy review and publication; maintain posting archives and performance logs.
- Prepare simple social video edits, organise raw multimedia assets and proofread design deliverables for digital channels.
- Prepare agendas, presentations and materials for internal meetings; coordinate logistics including room booking and technical setup.
- Support on‑site execution and guest management for corporate events; assist vendor coordination and event agenda planning.
- Track contracts and assist with vendor payment processing; manage corporate gift and promotional material inventory and meeting arrangements.
Qualifications
- Available to start end of May 2026 and commit to a 6‑month, on‑site internship, five days per week; must retain active student status throughout the internship.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Translation or a related discipline preferred.
- Native‑level Chinese writing and editing proficiency; professional English writing and editing skills.
- Proven ability to produce publication‑ready bilingual copy and to adapt messaging for internal and external audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic video editing capability for social media adaptation.

Experience
Entry‑level; suitable for current students or recent graduates with demonstrable bilingual writing and editing experience. Prior internship or campus project experience in communications, PR or digital content is advantageous but not required.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Translation or related fields preferred.
