LVMH Fashion Group Japan seeks Business Planning & Control Manager in Tokyo. FP&A leadership role managing budgets, forecasts, and financial strategy for luxury maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic financial partner to General Management, offering deep business understanding and influencing key decisions to contribute significantly to overall Maison success
- Manage the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, consolidating inputs from Maisons and business units to ensure coherence and accuracy
- Provide commentary and analyses to support decision-making under uncertainty and complex business scenarios
- Deliver timely financial performance reporting, highlighting key drivers of variance and identifying trends
- Analyze profitability by channel, category, and geography to identify margin improvement and cost optimization opportunities
- Partner with operational leaders to translate strategy into measurable financial targets and provide insights on working capital and inventory management
- Support investment decisions with robust financial evaluations and promote internal controls in accordance with Fashion Group policies
- Work closely with accountants and business partners to ensure alignment and adoption of best practices in planning tools and ERP systems
Qualifications
- University degree or higher
- Over 3 years of FP&A experience at a foreign subsidiary company
- Fluent in both Japanese and English
- Demonstrated expertise in business intelligence and data analysis
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial planning tools
- Strong understanding of retail and/or FMCG industry operations

Experience
Over 3 years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience at foreign subsidiary companies, with preferred exposure to retail and/or FMCG industry environments. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and experience working within complex organizational structures across multiple business units.

University degree or equivalent higher education qualification
