LVMH Fashion Group Japan hiring Business Planning & Control Manager in Tokyo. Strategic FP&A role managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for luxury maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic financial partner to General Management, leveraging deep business understanding to influence key decisions and contribute to overall Maison success
- Manage the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, consolidating inputs from Maisons and business units while ensuring coherence and accuracy
- Deliver timely financial performance reporting, highlighting key drivers of variance and analyzing profitability by channel, category, and geography
- Identify trends and opportunities for margin improvement and cost optimization across the organization
- Partner with operational leaders to translate strategy into measurable financial targets and support investment decisions with robust financial evaluations
- Provide insights on working capital, inventory management, and cash generation to optimize operational performance
- Promote and ensure internal control measures aligned with Fashion Group's internal control framework
- Work closely with accountants and business partners to ensure organizational alignment and drive adoption of best practices in planning tools and ERP systems
Qualifications
- University degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline
- Over 3 years of FP&A experience in a foreign subsidiary environment
- Retail and/or FMCG industry experience highly valued
- Fluent proficiency in both Japanese and English
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems and business intelligence tools
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities
Skills
Experience
Over 3 years of FP&A experience in a foreign subsidiary company, preferably within the retail or FMCG sectors. Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with a proven ability to partner strategically with senior management.
Education
University degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
