LVMH Watches & Jewelry seeks a Business Planning & Control Financial Analyst in Tokyo. Mid-level FP&A role, hybrid, analysing P&L and forecasts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Validate and analyse P&L, overheads, balance sheet and cash flow for assigned W&J entities; provide variance analysis and weekly reporting.
- Issue alerts and recommendations to the Business Planning & Control Manager to preserve or improve profitability.
- Develop performance analysis by channel (volume, price, margin) and for Advertising & Promotion spend; model and quantify product launch impacts.
- Support and challenge brand marketing, commercial and after-sales teams on KPI definitions, forecasts and business assumptions.
- Lead planning and forecasting cycles (budgets, best estimates, revised forecasts, landing) including P&L, cash flow and Capex.
- Set up and monitor KPIs for After Sales and Logistics; support After Sales Managers on new projects.
- Assist in establishing internal control processes, plan and monitor annual stock take and review expense approval and delegation rules.
Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Finance or Business; Master/MBA from a top school preferred.
- 3–6 years in financial planning & analysis, general accounting or auditing within a multinational/foreign company; overseas experience advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese (TOEIC >800 recommended).
- Strong analytical capability with demonstrated experience in variance analysis, forecasting and KPI development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

3–6 years in FP&A, general accounting or auditing within a multinational organisation; prior exposure to cross-border operations and collaboration with marketing, commercial and after-sales functions.
Education
University degree in Economics, Finance or Business. Master/MBA preferred.
