LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics (LVMH Beauty Iberia) seeks a Business Controller in Madrid (temporary, hybrid) to manage monthly closings, budgets and CAPEX.
Role & Responsibilities
- Report to the Head of Controlling and deliver accurate monthly closings, financial controls and P&L analysis, including flash sales and package reporting.
- Manage monthly re-invoicing to European entities, ensuring recharging processes are documented and compliant with internal transfer pricing policies.
- Monitor and analyse actuals versus budgets by cost centre and business unit; explain key variances and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct monthly closing reviews with Brand General Managers to identify risks and opportunities and implement action plans.
- Prepare, coordinate and supervise the company budgeting process (annual budget and revisions) and develop contingency plans to protect operating results.
- Coordinate the annual CAPEX budgeting process, support profitability analysis for investment approvals at HQ and perform post-implementation evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with accounting, cash collections, treasury, logistics and brand teams to ensure alignment on sales targets and operating performance.
- Validate and control expenses (purchase orders, T&E, CAPEX) and provide ad hoc support to the Controlling Manager to inform financial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in controlling, finance or audit; experience in retail, perfumes & cosmetics or FMCG preferred.
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent.
- Spanish: full professional proficiency; English: fluent (C1); French (C1) is a strong plus.
- Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and CAPEX evaluation.
- Results-oriented, highly analytical with strong attention to detail; proactive and collaborative work style.

Experience
Minimum 5 years in controlling or finance roles with hands-on responsibility for monthly closings, budgeting, CAPEX and intercompany processes; retail or audit background preferred.
Education
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent.
