Brand Controller at LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics, Brussels – financial analysis and planning role for Parfums Christian Dior Benelux.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute monthly variance analysis for revenue, margins, operating costs, and marketing expenses, with focus on activity profitability by customer and product line
- Conduct monthly business performance controlling and analysis with supportive challenge of departmental running expenses
- Participate in monthly financial close and budgeting processes; prepare accurate and timely financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, as well as monthly provision and accrual documentation
- Prepare monthly management reports and conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management
- Provide ongoing support to the Marketing team regarding Advertising & Promotions cost follow-up, including POSM, local purchasing, and media expenditures
- Evaluate financial viability of capital expenditure (capex) investment projects
- Mentor and coach the FP&A intern, providing guidance on analytical methodologies and financial reporting
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business controlling with strong foundation in financial accounting
- Proven experience working in complex, product-focused, and international environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and accounting policies
- Experience with SAP reporting, consolidation, and integrated operating systems
- Fluency in French and English (Dutch language proficiency highly desirable)
- Auditing experience valued
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business controlling, financial accounting, or related finance roles, preferably in a luxury goods, international, or product-focused environment. Prior auditing experience is valued.
Education
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related financial discipline preferred; equivalent professional qualification or demonstrated expertise in financial controlling accepted.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Brussels, Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium.
