LVMH — Auxiliary Accounting Manager in Paris: lead auxiliary accounting for ~60 holdings, manage a team and drive ERP/automation projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Line manage and develop the auxiliary accounting team (8–10 people, including apprentices); ensure coaching, performance management and skills development.
- Oversee and validate subsidiary ledger activity: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment runs, direct debits and aged balance reconciliations.
- Drive monthly accounting close for the holdings perimeter and deliver detailed operational result analyses for consolidation.
- Define, monitor and report on KPIs and dashboards; ensure adherence to accounting processes and internal controls.
- Act as primary liaison with statutory auditors and support legal and tax compliance reviews across the holdings.
- Provide operational finance support and advisory to holding company business units and support functions.
- Lead and participate in finance transformation projects: ERP implementations/upgrades, process automation, AI-assisted solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent (Bac +5) or comparable professional qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 8 years in team management or supervisory roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in auxiliary accounting, month‑end close and consolidated reporting for multi‑entity groups.
- Proven track record of leading finance projects (ERP deployment, process automation) and delivering process improvements.
- Strong interpersonal skills with pedagogy, listening, organization and change management capabilities.
- Professional proficiency in English; French language competence is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SAP S4Hana and Esker is a plus.
