Assistant Accountant at luxury fashion group in Singapore. Full-time hybrid role supporting multi-entity finance operations, GL management, and compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute daily transactional accounting, including journal entries, postings, and general ledger reconciliations
- Perform month-end and period-end closes, including accruals, trial balance reviews, and variance investigations
- Maintain accurate records for inventory, fixed assets, rent, and major operating expenses
- Enforce company policies, internal controls, and GAAP/IFRS standards
- Prepare documentation to support internal and external audits, statutory requirements, and tax reporting
- Utilize ERP systems and finance tools to streamline accounting and reporting workflows
- Prepare schedules, bank reconciliations, and reports for management and monthly Group reporting
- Manage cost allocations, revenue recognition, and inventory accounting
- Process accounts receivable billings, receipts, collections, adjustments, deposits, and credits
- Support sales rent audits, credit card machine controls, and ad-hoc process optimization projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or ACCA certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or audit roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/finance systems
- Solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, or finance roles, with demonstrated competency in month-end and period-end close processes, GL reconciliations, and compliance documentation.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or ACCA certification is preferred.
