LVMH — Apprentice Cook (apprenticeship) in Paris 8th arrondissement starting Sept 2026. On-site 12-month culinary apprenticeship at the Group's presidential tables.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring quantity and quality match orders and specifications.
  • Prepare mise en place and execute daily menu items in strict adherence to technical sheets and portioning.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workspaces and storage areas in compliance with HACCP standards.
  • Store and rotate food stocks according to HACCP rules; monitor stock sorties and limit waste.
  • Operate and care for kitchen equipment and dishwashing tools; report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Follow safety instructions for the use of kitchen materials and premises.
  • Contribute to menu development, assist with ordering and propose new recipes under the chef’s supervision.
  • Organise work to meet time constraints and respond to specific client requests or unforeseen events.
  • Collaborate respectfully with kitchen colleagues, suppliers and service teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or holding a CAP Cuisine, culinary school diploma or hospitality management programme and eligible for an apprenticeship (apprentissage) contract in France.
  • Available to start the 12‑month apprenticeship in September 2026 and to work full time on-site in Paris (8th arrondissement).
  • Demonstrates curiosity, initiative and a proactive attitude; comfortable proposing ideas and adapting to change.
  • Shows strong teamwork, discretion and professional ethics in a high-standard corporate hospitality environment.

Experience

Entry-level — suitable for candidates with little or no professional kitchen experience who are enrolled in a culinary or hospitality apprenticeship programme. Practical training in a professional kitchen environment is expected as part of the apprenticeship.
