LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics — Shanghai: Accounts Payable Supervisor responsible for AP operations, IFRS reporting and automation projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations including invoice processing, invoice matching to PR/PO, payment execution and vendor account maintenance in compliance with local regulation and internal controls.
- Monitor invoice due dates and manage payment schedules to ensure timely vendor settlement and optimal cash flow management.
- Perform monthly intercompany and key vendor reconciliations; prepare and review AP-related month-end closing deliverables and group financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
- Produce, analyse and report core AP KPIs; identify abnormal indicators and drive corrective actions to improve operational performance.
- Act as primary liaison to BPC and brand teams to resolve complex AP inquiries, deliver sustainable solutions and provide professional support to stakeholders.
- Lead and contribute to AP strategic projects including AI+ integration, automation tool deployment and system improvements; propose and implement process optimisation initiatives and provide technical guidance to the AP team.
- Participate in ad-hoc finance projects and provide practical, finance-oriented recommendations to support brand business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA qualification strongly preferred.
- Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience with solid, demonstrable accounts payable expertise; retail industry experience highly desirable.
- Proven experience with ERP systems and end-to-end AP platforms; prior work with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics is mandatory.
- Deep knowledge of PRC GAAP, IFRS and Chinese tax regulations, with a strong sense of internal control and risk identification.
- Proven track record in process optimisation and project leadership, including automation or system implementation initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.

Experience
At least five years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrable ownership of AP operations; experience leading AP process improvements and cross-functional projects, preferably within retail or consumer goods.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Professional accounting qualification (CPA or ACCA) preferred.
