Role & Responsibilities
- Lead group treasury management for LVMH Japan: execute banking documentation, manage cash‑pooling by consolidating Maisons' cash forecasts, monitor short‑term liquidity and propose operational cash adjustments (including overdraft usage).
- Optimize group cash position and interest costs through collaboration with HQ, individual Maisons and banking partners; act as first point of contact for bank communications and troubleshooting affecting multiple Maisons.
- Oversee LVMH Japan accounting operations: prepare and supervise financial reporting, validate vendor registrations, supervise AP and bank payment operations.
- Manage accounting and financial reporting for LVMH Japan subsidiaries (including real estate units), coordinate payment operations with property management providers and support budgetary control.
- Own tax deliverables for the entity and designated subsidiaries: coordinate tax filings, provide tax advisory to Maisons in coordination with HQ and serve as principal contact for tax authorities and audits.
- Design, implement and operationalize Group internal control policies; perform annual internal control testing and remediate internal/external audit findings.
- Drive finance community communication and enablement: disseminate procedural updates, translate system or operational requirements into practical guidance and provide training/support to finance teams across the group.
- Lead finance projects including system implementations and new bank operations; coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders and third‑party providers to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with broad exposure to financial reporting, GL, AP, AR and tax.
- Proven experience in treasury operations and cash management, including cash pooling and bank relationship management.
- Practical experience with internal control frameworks and responding to internal/external audit findings.
- Native‑level Japanese and business‑level English (spoken and written).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to translate technical requirements into end‑user guidance.
- Professional accounting credentials preferred (JCPA, USCPA or equivalent) or recognized Tax Accountant qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing accounting systems or finance transformation projects is highly desirable.
