Accounting Manager at LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics in Seoul – lead financial operations, tax, treasury, and accounting for multiple beauty brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and annual closing processes, including the full Financial Statement Closing Process (FSCP), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Manage General Ledger postings and perform multi-brand Balance Sheet reconciliations to guarantee the integrity of financial data and make necessary adjustments
- Oversee the preparation and submission of all tax filings and payments, ensuring full regulatory compliance with local tax and international tax requirements
- Direct cash flow management, financial risk identification, and support treasury operations
- Drive accounts receivable management and credit policy implementation to optimize collection rates and manage credit risk effectively
- Develop and maintain robust internal control procedures, ensuring adherence to company policies and best practices
- Support external audit processes by providing documentation, explanations, and ensuring audit readiness
- Maintain and optimize ERP Systems (AX or SAP) by managing configurations, validating data accuracy, and troubleshooting issues
- Lead and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Facilitate seamless communication and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting, tax, treasury, credit management, and audit within a multinational environment
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-brand financial management
- In-depth knowledge of Accounting principles and practices
- Strong proficiency in Financial Statement Closing Process (FSCP)
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Internal Controls
- Expertise in ERP Systems (AX or SAP)
- Advanced skills in reconciliation and data validation
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
- Proficiency in financial data analysis and reporting
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of accounting, tax, treasury, credit management, and audit experience within a multinational environment. Multi-brand financial management experience required; retail industry experience is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
