Accounting Assistant internship at LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics in Brussels, Belgium—6 months (Sept 2026–Mar 2027).
Role & Responsibilities
- Process and record supplier invoices with and without purchase order references
- Manage the shared mailbox for supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements
- Follow up on the approval of purchase invoices and manage supplier creation and modification in compliance with group procedures
- Record bank statements and manage customer open items by reconciling payments to unpaid invoices
- Reconcile cash register reports and credit card payments to boutique sales reports
- Send reminder emails to customers and assist in shared mailbox management
- Update follow-up files for project tracking, databases, group reporting, and audit purposes
- Prepare audit files including confirmation letters for clients, suppliers, and banks, and download relevant data from SAP
- Scan and archive accounting documents on the shared network drive
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Understanding of accounting principles and ability to analyze financial information
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Skills
Experience
Beginner-level experience; no prior professional accounting experience required. A proactive attitude and genuine desire to learn accounting processes and the luxury goods industry are essential.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Brussels, Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium.
