Role & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including processing vendor invoices, payments and employee expense claims with punctuality and accuracy.
• Ensure correct accounting treatment, coding, authorisations and complete supporting documentation in line with company policies and controls.
• Maintain and verify vendor master data, monitor AP ageing and perform vendor verification to mitigate fraud and data integrity risks.
• Oversee e‑invoicing procedures and ensure compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements across markets.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues through coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead AP month‑end closing activities: reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and AP sub‑ledger to GL reconciliations.
• Prepare AP schedules, reports and analyses to support financial reporting and management information needs.
• Uphold internal controls, audit requirements and approval frameworks while maintaining full audit trails and documentation.
• Identify and drive process improvements and efficiencies through ERP improvements and operational enhancements.
• Support cross‑functional projects and system implementations and provide guidance to junior team members where applicable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or accounting operations; experience in high‑volume or multi‑maison environments preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, AP processes, month‑end close and financial controls.
• Proven proficiency with ERP systems (experience with SAP or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with e‑invoicing and applicable tax/regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical ability with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
