LuxExperience HR Payroll Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly payroll processing cycle in coordination with external payroll providers, ensuring full compliance with Italian fiscal, social contribution, and labour law regulations and managing all post-payroll administrative activities
• Independently produce payroll reporting, prepare corporate documentation, and manage communications with external partners (payroll providers, labour consultants) and public agencies (INPS, INAIL, Agenzia delle Entrate)
• Monitor accurate personnel data management and track attendance, vacation time, and leave permissions
• Handle internal communications and provide support to staff regarding payroll inquiries and labour administration matters
• Collaborate on year-end close processes and provide necessary support during internal and external audit activities
• Develop cost analyses, statistics, and summary reports to inform strategic departmental decisions
• Participate actively in cross-functional HR process improvement initiatives and personnel administration enhancement projects

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of the complete Italian payroll processing cycle, CCNL Terziario Distribuzione e Servizi (Commerce) collective bargaining agreement, and statutory fiscal and social compliance requirements
• Significant end-to-end payroll management experience gained in a professional services firm or corporate in-house payroll environment
• Expert proficiency with Zucchetti payroll software, MS Office (particularly Excel), and Google Suite
• Precision, analytical rigour, reliability, and flexibility in daily workflow organization
• High standards of integrity, work ethics, and absolute confidentiality when handling sensitive data
• Strong operational hands-on approach and problem-solving orientation
• Fluent English language skills (B2 level) and native-level Italian (C1) proficiency, both written and spoken
• Collaborative team orientation with enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills, and proactive initiative

Experience

Significant end-to-end payroll management experience gained within a professional services firm or corporate in-house payroll environment, with demonstrable expertise in Italian payroll legislation and multi-entity payroll operations.

Education

Education or professional qualification in HR administration, payroll management, labour law, or accounting is preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 45,000 per annum.
