The Women's Ready-to-Wear Atelier Sample Assistant supports the atelier and studio with garment mock-ups, toiles, assembly and finishing proposals. This six-month internship is based in Paris and is scheduled to begin in January, February or April 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble mock-ups for the studio, including garment details, sections and shells.
- Assemble complete toiles and garment shells for the atelier.
- Propose assembly methods.
- Propose finishing methods.
- Support the atelier’s various activities.
Qualifications
- Currently studying at a fashion school in fashion or patternmaking, or in an equivalent university programme.
- Strong interest in fashion and the luxury sector.
- Technical knowledge of products and the collection development process.
- Rigorous, with strong interpersonal skills and a good work ethic.
- Fluent French and English; Italian is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Submit a varied portfolio showcasing creative and technical projects, including mock-up making and work with volume, materials and finishes.
- A valid internship agreement issued by the educational institution is mandatory.
