Role & Responsibilities
- Lead product development for women's leather ready-to-wear from initial sketch to delivery, ensuring alignment with style, quality, cost and timing objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the design studio, material and fur developers and internal/external suppliers to define technical needs and propose feasible industrial solutions.
- Challenge briefs and propose existing or innovative alternatives to secure manufacturability and product quality.
- Produce complete technical dossiers and assembly sections (via Illustrator) and maintain detailed, illustrated development follow-ups.
- Document collection and production requirements within the information systems (technical constraints, lead times, PRI, negotiations, bill of materials, product compositions).
- Participate actively in fittings and hand over elements to Quality to ensure compliance with Louis Vuitton specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement of collection and industrialisation processes and support innovation in materials and manufacturing methods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' experience in ready-to-wear product development with demonstrable expertise in leather garments and industrialisation.
- Proven track record managing suppliers and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders (design, materials, quality, production).
- Strong project-management skills, pragmatic problem-solving and an ability to balance style fidelity with industrial constraints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of building trusted relationships internally and with external partners.
- Languages: French required; Italian highly desirable; English working proficiency preferred.

Experience
At least 10 years of progressive experience in ready-to-wear product development, with strong experience in leather garment development, industrialisation and supplier coordination within a luxury or high-end apparel context.
Education
Bachelor's degree in fashion design, textile engineering, materials science or equivalent professional experience in luxury apparel product development.

The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
