La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, the watchmaking facility established over 20 years ago and housing the maisons Gérald Genta and Daniel Roth, seeks an experienced Watchmaker to join its horological workshop. The role encompasses complete assembly of base movements, casing on semi-automatic or manual potencies, bracelet installation, pre-assembly of movement components, and quality control of finished timepieces. The candidate will diagnose movement irregularities, implement corrective measures, and ensure strict adherence to operational procedures and safety standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform complete assembly of base movement ranges
  • Execute full casing operations on semi-automatic or manual potencies, including stem-cutting machine operation
  • Install bracelets across the entire product range
  • Conduct pre-assembly of movement components including bridges and plates
  • Diagnose assembly defects and implement necessary corrective actions
  • Verify functional and aesthetic quality of completed timepieces through self-inspection
  • Ensure compliance with established operational procedures, standards, and workshop safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in watchmaking (AFP, CFC, or equivalent certification)
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated professional experience in watchmaking
  • Proficiency in pre-assembly, regulation, and casing operations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Technical troubleshooting capability with active problem-solving orientation
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality control
  • Exemplary manual dexterity, precision, and concentration
