Louis Vuitton is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor in Florence, Italy to lead warehouse operations and a team of 25–30 in a hybrid work environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a warehouse team of approximately 25–30 people, setting collective and individual objectives and ensuring team cohesion.
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks for the team (absence management, overtime, performance reviews) and escalate social or behavioural issues while participating in resolution.
- Plan and allocate daily workloads and resources (W+1 capacity planning) to meet throughput, quality and delivery deadlines.
- Run shift briefings, drive order planning and monitor warehouse performance indicators (productivity, inventory accuracy, deadlines, quality, HSE).
- Implement and manage performance improvement initiatives; identify and deploy continuous improvement actions in processes and organisation.
- Ensure compliance with procedures for goods receipt and shipment, raise quality alerts for non-conformities and coordinate corrective action with the Quality department.
- Propose temporary adjustment solutions when required to maintain continuity from reception to shipment while respecting safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in a technical discipline (engineering, industrial engineering, logistics or economics).
- Minimum five years' progressive experience in logistics, warehouse operations or production planning within modernly structured companies, with proven supervisory responsibility.
- Practical experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills) and experience using SAP.
- Good command of French and/or English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, operational decision-making ability and proven capacity to motivate and lead multidisciplinary teams.
