Louis Vuitton Warehouse Controller position in Malissard, France. Quality control and logistics operations in luxury leather goods manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive quality control inspections of raw materials and leather goods components using visual, tactile, and specialized inspection tools to ensure compliance with luxury quality standards
- Identify and segregate defective materials and components in accordance with established quality protocols
- Manage inbound logistics operations including truck unloading and computerized documentation of received shipments
- Execute inventory management tasks encompassing stocking, computerized system registration, and organized storage of materials within the hub
- Prepare and process customer orders through picking and product conditioning activities
- Oversee outbound logistics including transport documentation preparation, outgoing shipment registration, and truck loading coordination
- Conduct annual and rolling inventory counts, reconcile physical stock against inventory management system records, and identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with team leaders and colleagues to maintain operational standards and communicate alerts or requests for assistance as required
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of relevant professional experience in logistics or quality control environments
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment including forklifts (certifications in categories 1, 3, and 5 preferred)
- Competency with logistics software and tools including SAP and barcode scanning systems
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills with ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated commitment to occupational safety, workplace organization, cleanliness, and proper storage protocols
