Role & Responsibilities
- Manage show window display creation and rotation processes for existing stores (5 cycles per year) and ad hoc pop-up installations
- Arrange locally sourced window sub-components (purchase or rental) in accordance with global guidelines for assembly with centrally provided main kits
- Coordinate with internal partners including Store Project Team, Advertising, and Edition Teams to ensure project completion within timelines
- Design, plan, and execute pop-up stores and limited pop-up events reflecting brand image and business objectives
- Handle logistics coordination including site selection, layout design, and vendor/contractor management for pop-up installations
- Develop engaging customer experiences at pop-up events and pop-in spaces within larger stores for special collections or collaborations
- Provide feedback and reporting to Central VM team on VM activities, store openings, and product VM reports (Leather Goods, Ready-to-Wear, Accessories)
- Submit window reports to Central and New York Image Studio teams
- Support zoning plans and product rotations at assigned stores
- Communicate category visual direction to all stores biweekly in alignment with merchandising strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fine Arts, or related field (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in visual merchandising or related role
- Strong artistic and creative abilities with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Advanced project management and time management capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in visual merchandising, store design, retail environment creation, or closely related creative and operational disciplines within luxury retail or fashion environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred. Practical design training and portfolio development are valued.
