Louis Vuitton seeks a creative and passionate visual merchandising design assistant for a six-month internship beginning in December 2026. The successful candidate will work alongside the Visual Merchandising design team in Paris to conceive and implement exceptional in-store visual experiences, from initial concept development through technical production drawings and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist VM designers in creating visual concepts and supporting materials including technical drawings, sketches, mockups, mood boards, and concept proposals
  • Conduct trend research in visual merchandising, design, and retail innovation
  • Produce precise technical drawings and specifications for the production of VM elements
  • Collaborate with internal departments including marketing, operations, and architecture as well as external suppliers
  • Ensure strict compliance with Louis Vuitton brand guidelines and codes across all VM creations

Qualifications

  • Excellent aesthetic sensibility and comprehensive understanding of luxury brand codes
  • Demonstrated experience in visual merchandising, interior architecture, or applied arts through internships or completed projects
  • Proficiency with design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite; Rhino experience is a plus
  • Strong manual drawing skills for rapid conceptual sketching
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • Attention to detail, consistency, and rigorous execution; autonomy and collaborative spirit
  • Portfolio demonstrating diverse creative projects extending beyond visual merchandising required

Experience
