Louis Vuitton Visual Merchandising Coordinator in Johannesburg, South Africa. Lead brand standards across stores with 5+ years' retail visual merchandising expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute window installations and product rotations in consultation with the Area Visual Merchandising Manager
- Prepare and implement regular store zoning and rotations in alignment with Interior Merchandising Implementation Plans and store management
- Manage product preparation, database location updates (X store system), and installation across store locations
- Conduct daily visual merchandising maintenance checks to ensure lighting, windows, props, and furniture meet luxury retail standards
- Share qualitative and photographic feedback following each rotation with the Country Visual Merchandiser
- Collaborate with Store Manager, Team Managers, Senior Client Advisors, and Expert Advisors on business events, new launches, and seasonal visual merchandising guidelines
- Coach and develop store team members by sharing visual merchandising knowledge and driving maintenance awareness
- Monitor competitor visual merchandising practices and report best practices to management
- Manage reordering of props, lighting, and visual merchandising tools as required
- Ensure all products are displayed according to Louis Vuitton standards and current guidelines
- Develop comprehensive brand and product knowledge across all categories
- Demonstrate active passion and enthusiasm as a visual merchandising role model within the store environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional visual merchandising experience
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of luxury fashion retail and product categories
- Proficiency with X store database system
- Strong interest in Louis Vuitton products and competitive landscape knowledge
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Results-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced retail environments
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in visual merchandising within luxury fashion retail environments, with demonstrated expertise in window displays, store zoning, and team leadership. Experience working within luxury brands, multi-store management, and competitor analysis is essential.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; visual merchandising certification or equivalent professional training preferred.
