Louis Vuitton seeks a Visual Merchandiser in Sydney, Australia to design windows, manage in-store displays and support store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, plan and execute window concepts in coordination with Head Office and local suppliers, managing product rotations and installation logistics.
- Develop and implement interior store zoning and visual plans across product categories to support commercial objectives and new launches.
- Maintain daily visual standards through regular checks of displays, props, lighting and store environment to uphold Louis Vuitton presentation guidelines.
- Provide qualitative and photographic merchandising feedback, visit competitors to report best practices and inform local VM strategy.
- Collaborate with Store Leadership on sales trends, events and VM guidelines; implement visual concepts for store events and manage reordering of VM supplies.
- Support day-to-day store operations including floor and break management, transactional duties, opening/closing procedures and coaching of sales teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' visual merchandising experience in a luxury or specialty retail environment.
- Proven portfolio of visual work including windows, ready-to-wear and accessories displays.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate sales trends into visual solutions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; ability to train and motivate retail teams.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of practical visual merchandising experience within luxury retail or a high-end specialty retail environment, with demonstrable examples of window and in-store campaigns.
Education
Diploma or degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail, Fashion or a related discipline preferred; equivalent practical experience accepted.
