Louis Vuitton in Milan seeks a Visual Merchandiser Intern to execute store displays, windows and VM standards, supporting product launches and team training.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and implement store visual merchandising zoning and regular rotations in close collaboration with Store Management.
- Execute window installations and on-site set-ups for events and product launches, ensuring consistency with global VM directives.
- Oversee visual presentation across all product categories, including lighting, furniture and overall store image.
- Provide qualitative post-rotation feedback to the Visual Merchandising Manager and central VM team.
- Coach, guide and develop in-store VM resources and train sales teams on VM standards and maintenance practices.
- Leverage visual merchandising to drive sales by engaging store management and aligning displays with commercial priorities.
- Monitor competitor windows and retail environments; report best practices and local market insights.
Qualifications
- Completed courses in fashion styling or visual merchandising (mandatory).
- Minimum three years' relevant experience in visual merchandising or retail display (as stated).
- Strong orientation to fashion and demonstrable passion for visual merchandising and luxury goods.
- Excellent aesthetic sensibility and solid understanding of product categories.
- Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to train and influence store teams.
- Excellent knowledge of the local Milan market and competitors.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure and maintain high standards during overnight or event-driven hours.
- Proficiency in Italian and English.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in visual merchandising, retail display or store operations, with demonstrated responsibility for windows, launches and in-store presentation.
