Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the execution and maintenance of visual merchandising standards and strategies in designated flagship or regional stores in Mainland China.
- Design and manage store layouts and window displays, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and product characteristics to create captivating visual spaces.
- Regularly update store displays to enhance visual appeal and customer engagement, adapting to seasonal, holiday, and new product launch requirements.
- Utilize sales data to forecast and adjust merchandising strategies, enhancing the visibility of key products.
- Participate in the design and implementation of merchandising plans for commercial and non-commercial events, aligning with brand storytelling.
- Maintain daily high standards of visual presentation, including product placement, styling, lighting, signage, and overall ambiance.
- Manage inventory and condition of display props, mannequins, and materials, promptly addressing any merchandising issues.
- Collaborate with category and area managers to align on monthly product focuses, sales targets, and promotional rules.
- Analyze consumer preferences and market trends to develop visual merchandising directions that align with store positioning.
- Coordinate with design and procurement departments to ensure timely execution and presentation of merchandising props and visual materials.
- Oversee VM team scheduling and task allocation, ensuring consistent visual standards across stores.
- Monitor team progress and execution quality, providing guidance and feedback to maintain visual consistency.
- Regularly evaluate team performance, offering suggestions for improvement and fostering professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Styling, Art History, or related creative fields preferred.
- Formal qualifications or certifications in personal styling, image consulting, or fashion are advantageous.
- Fluent in Mandarin with proficiency in English; bilingual service capability is preferred.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in luxury retail, professional styling, or fashion-related fields, with a preference for high-end brand experience.
Education
Bachelor's degree in relevant fields preferred.
