Louis Vuitton Universe Manager role in Vienna, Austria – lead product categories, manage teams, drive sales and client experience at LVMH flagship boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of sales performance and KPIs for assigned product categories, driving growth aligned with store and seasonal targets
  • Design and lead category-specific action plans, training initiatives, and campaigns to maximize sell-through across all client segments
  • Manage and develop Team Managers and Client Advisors within the product scope, including recruitment, coaching, and succession planning
  • Set individual and team sales targets, assess performance, and create tailored development plans
  • Lead by example on the shop floor to ensure exceptional product knowledge and client service delivery
  • Collaborate with other Universe Managers, Store Director, and head office to align priorities with launches, events, and campaigns
  • Partner with Merchandising and Head Office to share market insights, optimize stock levels, assortment, and product availability for local clientele
  • Maintain operational excellence, inventory accuracy, audit readiness, and ensure all Louis Vuitton standards and policies are implemented
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and absence management to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Manage high-profile client relationships and ensure exceptional service in a social professional setting

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience in luxury retail or closely related field
  • Demonstrated track record in high-level client development and managing larger teams in international, multicultural settings
  • Strong understanding of luxury client experience and ability to elevate it in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Proven experience dealing with high-end clientele and attending formal social and professional engagements
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and coaching abilities
  • Strong animation and presentation skills with ability to lead workshops and inspire audiences
  • Fluent English and strong German language skills (additional languages preferred)
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Europe and internationally to accompany clients on business trips, including weekends
