Louis Vuitton seeks a Universe Manager in Hefei, China to lead store teams, drive sales and manage VIP client relations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop store managers and team leaders; identify training needs and implement individual development plans in partnership with sales trainers.
  • Recruit talent and execute succession plans in coordination with the Store Manager/Director to ensure leadership continuity.
  • Set and manage individual and team sales targets, monitor performance against KPIs and deploy corrective actions where necessary.
  • Create a client-centric store environment, personally handle VIP clients and escalated complaints to uphold the brand’s service standards.
  • Support advisors in building long-term client relationships and improve client satisfaction through feedback analysis and service enhancements.
  • Design and implement action plans to maximise product performance, leveraging merchandising, CRM, training and events.
  • Lead monthly and seasonal business reviews; plan and run large-scale campaigns, events and VIP initiatives to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Ensure implementation of company policies, brand standards and store workflows; oversee inventory management and facility maintenance.
  • Act as strategic partner to the Store Manager for annual planning, budgeting, workforce planning and flagship launches.
  • Provide on-floor leadership by modelling sales excellence, coaching advisors in real time and driving conversion, attach rates and client retention.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of progressive experience in luxury retail management with responsibility for people leadership and sales delivery.
  • Proven track record of developing managers and driving team performance in a premium or ultra-premium retail environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing VIP clients, resolving complex service issues and maintaining high client experience standards.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in KPI monitoring, business reviews and executing local store initiatives.
  • Capacity to manage operational duties including inventory control, workforce planning and coordination with retail partners.

Experience
