Louis Vuitton is seeking a Textile Design Project Assistant for its Objets Nomades textile creation team, contributing to pattern design, 3D visualization, supplier coordination and project administration. This is a six-month, full-time internship starting in January 2027 in Paris.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design textile patterns, create pattern repeats and layouts, and prepare supplier files with precision.
  • Produce 3D mock-ups and renderings of textile designs across different products using 3D tools or AI.
  • Develop a photographic eye to showcase the finished product.
  • Help launch textile projects and track the development process with suppliers.
  • Manage development-cost orders.
  • Help organize and archive resources.

Qualifications

  • Excellent graphic design skills, including pattern creation, technical drawing and pattern repeats.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Procreate; 3D modeling software such as Rhino; and AI tools.
  • Ability to produce polished 3D mock-ups.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong product-image sensibility and clear communication skills for maintaining effective supplier relationships.
  • Foundational knowledge of, or a strong interest in, textiles, including woven and knitted fabrics, jacquard, cut-pile fabrics, print techniques, textile finishing, embroidery, outdoor fabrics and tufting.
  • Degree from a textile design school or equivalent training; examples include ENSAA Duperré, ENSAD, Central Saint Martins, IFM, ANAT and ECAL.
  • Rigorous and proactive, with a strong sense of organization and archiving.
  • Fluent French and English, spoken and written; Italian is an advantage.
  • Submit a CV and a portfolio featuring a range of creative projects.
