Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily back‑of‑house (BOH) operations to ensure a clean, organized and efficient working environment that supports commercial teams.
- Lead, coach and develop the operations team through hands‑on management, performance assessment and tailored training plans.
- Maintain inventory levels and controls, manage internal audits and implement improvements to BOH processes to maximise product availability.
- Own vendor relationships and liaise with suppliers to secure timely deliveries and resolve operational issues.
- Manage the operations budget, monitor costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and margin.
- Support client development by leveraging clienteling tools and coordinating with sales teams to elevate in‑store experiences, including bespoke service for High Jewelry and High Watchmaking clients.
- Contribute market and product feedback to the Country office and implement action plans (visual merchandising, clienteling, team animation) to boost business performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of progressive retail operations experience, including responsibility for store operational and commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a proactive, hands‑on management style and experience recruiting and developing retail talent.
- Strong client development skills and commercial acumen, with experience supporting high‑value clientele (e.g., high jewelry/watch segments).
- Excellent organisational skills, resilience and the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced boutique environment.
- Proficient in Italian and English (spoken and written).
