Louis Vuitton Team Manager position in Hefei, China. Lead retail operations, team development, and client excellence at luxury boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure achievement of team and individual sales targets on a monthly and annual basis
- Develop and coach team members consistently, identifying their professional development needs and partnering with the Field Coach Trainer to create tailored action plans
- Identify, recruit, and develop high-potential talent while securing succession plans in collaboration with the Store Manager
- Set individual and team goals; proactively assess performance and provide constructive feedback against expectations
- Create and maintain a positive, harmonious work environment that fosters cooperation and collaboration across the team and with management
- Support the team in building long-term client relationships through strategic use of clienteling tools and platforms
- Establish a client-centric mindset throughout the store to ensure consistently elevated client experiences and proactively resolve client-related situations
- Communicate and inspire the team on corporate strategy and relevant business information through morning briefings and training sessions
- Provide the Country office with product recommendations and qualitative market feedback based on local knowledge and client insights
- Implement action plans to boost business and maximize product performance by leveraging visual merchandising, clienteling, training, and team engagement
- Model sales leadership and support team members in their individual sales performance, fostering cross-selling and client repurchase
- Develop and nurture a personal client portfolio
- Ensure efficient sales floor management through visible presence and support, guaranteeing Louis Vuitton Promise standards are consistently achieved
- Serve as the store point of reference for the Country Merchandising team, providing detailed feedback on product performance, quality, client trends, and market opportunities
- Communicate enthusiasm and expertise regarding assigned product categories through team animations, training, and mentoring
- Ensure policies, brand standards, and grooming guidelines are effectively communicated and implemented throughout the team
- Support the Operations team in inventory management and the Store Manager in workforce planning
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant retail management or hospitality leadership experience
- Demonstrated expertise in team leadership, people development, and talent succession planning
- Proven sales excellence with ability to drive business performance and achieve targets
- Strong understanding of luxury retail operations and client service standards
- Experience with clienteling platforms and digital retail tools
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in retail management, hospitality operations, or similar leadership roles within the luxury sector. Proven track record of successfully managing sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and developing talent within a fast-paced, upscale retail environment.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; tertiary education in business administration, retail management, hospitality, or related field is preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Hefei, Anhui, China.
