Louis Vuitton seeks a Team Manager in Fuzhou, China to lead boutique teams, drive sales and cultivate client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the boutique sales team to consistently deliver the Louis Vuitton Promise and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Recruit, develop and retain talent; build succession plans in collaboration with the Store Manager and Field Coach Trainer.
- Set individual and team objectives, conduct performance assessments and implement tailored development plans.
- Drive client acquisition and long‑term relationships using clienteling tools and personalised service initiatives.
- Act as a visible sales leader on the floor: support personal sales, foster cross‑selling and ensure high conversion and repurchase rates.
- Communicate corporate strategy and market intelligence to the team via briefings and training; provide qualitative product feedback to the Country office.
- Implement action plans to maximise product performance, leveraging visual merchandising, clienteling and team animation.
- Oversee store operations: ensure compliance with brand standards and grooming guidelines, support inventory management and assist with workforce planning.
- Optionally act as the in‑store product category reference, liaising with Merchandising on product performance, trends and local market opportunities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and people‑management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Commercial mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities; capable of developing talent and conducting effective performance conversations.
- High standards of professionalism, responsibility and ownership in daily operations and client interactions.
- Passion for the brand and a client‑centric approach; curiosity and agility in adapting to market needs.
Skills
Experience
Prior client‑facing retail experience with exposure to team supervision or informal leadership; 1+ years in luxury or premium retail recommended, with a demonstrable record of commercial results and team development.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or formal education in retail, business or luxury brand management is advantageous.
